MEET JOSIE

Helping women feel strong, supported and confident through motherhood

Motherhood changes everything, including how we care for our bodies. You're navigating sleep deprivation, limited time and a completely new identity. This is before you even begin to think about the huge shift in hormones and change in nutritional needs that come from supporting a newborn & your own recovery.

Through With Josie, I support women navigating pregnancy, postpartum and motherhood with practical nutrition guidance, strength training and realistic strategies that fit into everyday life.

As a fully qualified Accredited Practising Dietitian and personal trainer, my approach brings together evidence-based dietetics, strength training and real-world experience, helping women rebuild energy, strength and confidence without pressure or unrealistic expectations.

Because motherhood is demanding enough, your health support should feel supportive, not overwhelming.

My Story

Like many women, my relationship with health, fitness and nutrition changed when I became a mum. Before motherhood, training and nutrition often felt structured and predictable. After having my son, I experienced first-hand just how much shifts: physically, mentally and practically.

Sleep looked completely different and time felt limited. Food became less about perfectly planned meals and more about what I could eat with one hand, what would support my milk supply, and what was quick and easy between feeds and naps.

Training changed too. Workouts were suddenly shaped by creche bookings, nap times, and whether I could do them at home if getting out of the house wasn’t possible. I also found myself thinking about things I’d never had to consider before, like pelvic floor recovery and how my body actually felt returning to exercise.

After a long 42-week pregnancy, I was also so ready to start feeling like myself again; both in my physical capability and, honestly, just being able to fit into my old clothes again.

That experience deepened my passion for supporting women during this stage of life.

I saw how many mothers were navigating pregnancy and postpartum with confusing advice, unrealistic expectations, and very little practical guidance designed for real mum life.

I wanted to create a space where women could access evidence-based guidance, realistic support, and a community that truly understands the unique challenges of motherhood.

That’s how With Josie was born.

my philosophy

Motherhood changes your body, your routines, and oftentimes how you see yourself.

At With Josie, I believe caring for your health during pregnancy, postpartum and motherhood should feel supportive, realistic and empowering - not restrictive or overwhelming.

You deserve guidance that fits into busy mum life.

You deserve nutrition advice that is evidence-based and practical.
And you deserve to feel strong, confident and comfortable in your body again.

My goal is to help women rebuild strength, nourish their bodies and reconnect with themselves, while navigating the beautiful chaos of motherhood.

Because when mums feel supported, strong and confident, everything else in life benefits too.

My Mission

My mission with 'With Josie' is simple: to help women feel supported, informed and confident in their health through pregnancy, postpartum and motherhood.

Through education, coaching, community and practical guidance, I want to make evidence-based health support more accessible to mums navigating one of the most transformative stages of life.

Motherhood changes your body in incredible ways, but it's also okay to want to feel like yourself again.
Wanting to feel strong, confident and comfortable in your body after having a baby is completely valid.

My approach isn’t about pressure to “bounce back”, but about helping women rebuild strength, energy and confidence so they can feel good in their bodies again — for themselves.

Outside of Work

Outside of my professional work, I’m a mum to my young son and understand the beautiful chaos that comes with raising little ones.

You’ll usually find me:

  • training in the gym

  • experimenting with simple, nourishing meals

  • walking with other mums and their pram

  • sharing the real side of motherhood online

Motherhood is busy and imperfect — and I believe caring for your health should support that reality, not add pressure to it.
